How Dream Drive Works
1. Decided by Skill
Every competition is Spot the Ball. You're shown a photo with the ball digitally removed and pick the exact point where you analysis places it. Once entries close, our independent panel of football experts (former players, analysts and coaches) play the same game and decide on a judges consensus, and the closest entry wins. Every competition guarantees a winner, there's no “no winner this month.” It doesn't matter which province you're playing from either, entries from every corner of South Africa have an equal shot.
2. Judged Fast, and Fairly
Judging happens within 12 hours of closing, measured mathematically against the judges' position, the same process every time. Every entry's distance to that position is calculated using straight-line measurement, not a guess or a vibe. If two entries tie, a documented three-step process settles it: other entries are compared, an expert panel votes by majority, and if needed, a fresh Spot the Ball round breaks the deadlock. Once judging is final, it's final.
3. Real, Verified Winners
Winners must verify their identity with a South African ID or passport before any prize is paid or delivered, and every reveal is filmed and published on our website, YouTube and socials, not just announced in a comments section. Winners can also pose for photos and video for our marketing, though it's entirely optional, they're free to decline. Winners choose between the car itself, or the cash alternative which you can see on the product pages, both car or cash is paid within 3 months.
4. The Fine Print, Plainly
You must be 18 or older and a South African resident to enter, and Dream Drive staff and their immediate family can't play. You can enter as many times as you like up to that cap, and bulk ticket discounts kick in the more you buy. Entries are capped at 100 tickets per person per competition, and prices are published upfront on every competition page, from around R11 up depending on the car.
